Plain terms.
Everything Mandy expects of you, and everything you can expect of Mandy. Short, specific, written in plain English. If something is not covered here, ask. She will tell you directly.
- Deposit
- 10% deposit at booking, applied to your final service total. The deposit secures Mandy's time and the chair, not a separate charge. The remainder is settled at the studio after your appointment.
- Cancellation
- Cancel by 24 hours before your appointment and the deposit is refunded automatically. Reschedule the same way, no fee. Inside 24 hours, the deposit is retained. Mandy understands real emergencies, text or email and she will work with you in good faith.
- Late arrival
- If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please text. Mandy is solo and booked tight; she may need to shorten your service or reschedule. A grace window of 10 minutes is standard.
- No-show
- A missed appointment without notice forfeits the deposit. Future bookings will require full prepayment until trust is rebuilt.
- Color correction
- If something does not land the way you hoped, return within 14 days and Mandy will adjust the work at no charge. After 14 days the visit is a regular booking. Color correction across visits is a deliberate process; she would rather get it right slowly than over-promise.
- Pricing transparency
- Listed prices are the prices you pay. Add-ons (K18, extra toner) are quoted before the work begins. No surprises at the till. Tipping is genuinely optional, Mandy does not run on tips, but they are welcomed in cash or via Venmo at the chair.
- Gift cards
- Available in any amount. Email [email protected] to purchase, Mandy sends a digital card by email. Cards never expire and can be redeemed against any service.
- Accessibility
- Step-free entry, single-floor salon, adjustable chair. If you have specific accessibility needs, mention it in your booking notes and Mandy will confirm everything works for you before you arrive.
- Children & guests
- The studio is quiet by design and Mandy is the only person attending you. Bringing a young child to a long color service is generally not workable; please arrange childcare if your appointment is over 2 hours.
- Photos
- Mandy may ask to photograph her work for portfolio and Instagram. You can say no, and you can ask her to crop or hide your face. Anything you say no to is final.
- Allergies & sensitivities
- Tell Mandy about any reactions you have had to color, bleach, or salon products. Patch testing is available on request, please ask at least 48 hours before your appointment.
