Mandy was raised in the Philippines and came to the US for a career in corporate. She did the work, climbed the ladder, and quietly missed the part of her day she actually looked forward to: getting a friend ready before something important. There was a meeting, a wedding, a tough week, and the chair where someone sat down feeling one way and stood up feeling another.
So she left.
Six years later, she works out of Blended Salon in Encinitas. Her chair is full of women who once had to choose between a salon that took too long and a salon that didn't quite get it. She offers a third option: color you can live in.
